When George applies for a job at Oberlong Industries he finds he is not the only candidate. But he is convinced his arrogance
and blustering will see him through.
THE AUDITIONS ( 20 to 60 minutes - you choose ! )
The author of a new play decides to adapt his play to suit the actors rather than the other way around. To achieve this, the author
and director audition various actors to determine the skill set of the actors who have turned up for the auditions. Unlike most plays, in this
play you can choose which scenes to include based on the actors and time you have available.
(When performed in Canada, this play won 4 awards.)
CAN I SPEAK TO JOHN ( 20 Minutes )
Soti was sure she had dialled the telephone number correctly.
But when it turns out to be a wrong number, what happens is certainly not what she was expecting. (Based on a genuine event !)
AMERICANO ( 35 Minutes )
Helen and Gail are going to be meeting their boyfriends,
Adam and Bert, in the university cafe. When they decide to test Adam's commitment to Gail, things do not happen exactly as planned.
REHEARSAL TIME ( 15 Minutes )
Patsy and Martin will be getting married soon but first
there is the small issue of the wedding rehearsal. This play is designed to tease the audience so they don't know what is the play and what is reality.
